New Milltek Exhaust - December 2006

For those of you planning on purchasing an R56, it looks like you'll be able to start modding before you even get the car. According to the Milltek web site they'll have their exhausts for the R56 available next month!

Hmm... that's crazy fast. I'm not sure if the R56 exhaust will have much gains for modification. I think the car already has a sweet exhaust sound and the piping is pretty much straight from the Catalytic Converter. Looks agressive as well.

Larger diameter piping is sure to decrease backpressure and increase HP somewhat. Probably more similar to other turbo cars though, you'll need to do a full TBE to see any significant gains.

That's great news for all you potential R56 owners. I'm glad Milltek is staying on the ball with timing.

We are the importer for Milltek Sport in the USA. I'll be over at Milltek in the UK in early December. I hope to get some HD vids and pictures of their new car with the new products installed. We are all hoping that the car has good gains from the replacement of the cats and catback with a high-performance unit. Without software changes. We do this all the time with Audi/VW turbos and even the new BMW 335i twin-turbo which had a nice gain just from the new Milltek catback releasing for that car any day.

We also are first on the list at our local dealer to receive a car which will be immediately modified for testing purposes. -Pete, Stratmosphere. 1.866.533.1777
