New Mod reduces drag, improves weight distribution, power and gas milage!
I've done extensive CAD/FEA/CFD modeling, wind tunnel testing and have the data to prove it! This ultimate mod will take over a quarter second off your 0-60 times, a full second off a quarter mile, up gas milage by over 10% all while improving the weight distribution & transfer, transforming not just the power, but the handling of the stock mini cooper s!
I took off the "COOPER S" badges from the rear of the car!
I heard from someone who heard from someone that this should be the first mod ... That someone said that the someone who did it, is running faster and lighter...
I don't care about the numbers. I want to see the dyno sheets
OK, I'm lazy. I only cleaned the area around the badges. And I gotta say, that since my car is an 02 with over 60,000 miles, it's gonna take a lot of elbow grease to get the outlines completely removed. I used dental floss to "cut" the adhesive, and some goo remover to soften the rest of the adhesive for removal, then completed the cleaning and re-waxed the area.

You forgot to add that it helps keep the boot more clean also
I've been thinking about this, and not for weight reasons, but cleaning ones. My dang mit always gets hung-up, and snagged by that badge! Plus, it's hard to clean properly...
So, a little heat, and some fish line? Never mind, just saw your other post above...
It appears that removing the MINI winged logo in the rear will leave an exposed hole. Anyone find a clever and appealing way to plug it? I would otherwise do that one also if so...
Seriously though, removing the winged logo just below the bonnet scoop might help with the airflow into the scoop... and that one would not leave a hole to be plugged, so I understand...

That seems like a strange modifcation to make on your car (see graphic above)! :r azz:

I invented this mod ages ago, and have done extensive dyno, track and street testing on it (sorry, the results are a secret). Besides, the way I do it, it is exactly twice (two times) as good as anybody else.
Slightly of topic. A few days ago I saw one of these:
Except the clown added another 0 so the badge now read SLK2300. Must have made the car 10 times faster/better/rare. Of course he was traveling at 52 mph on an empty freeway talking on his cell phone.
