Finaly found some time to photograph the AGS in it's full glory.
As you can see the AGS tube is in line with the supercharger, allowing absolutly
perfect, unimpeded airflow to the supercharger. Not only is the tube perfectly straight but there also no intrusions in the air-path , not only slowing down the
air flow but also disturbing the laminar flow, robbing power from the engine.
The throttle body was moved approx 4" down necessitating us to either ask you
the consumer to hack in to the wiring harness, or us making a custom 12"
harness adapter....We did chose the latter.
I want to put it in and help build even more of a fan base here in northern CA for you!!!

Hi Wen.....
The wiring harness that I mentioned in the post, has been very hard to make.
We had some problems with the adhesives we used in the conectors, as the
temps reach 130º+ the glue started to soften, giving us some problems.
We solved the problem last week, with a new super strong acrylic compound
guaranteed to withstand 350º+ without deteriorating. We will start to ship
all the back ordered units this week.
PS. I will snap some images of the stock tube ASAP.....
Think this thing would be too loud for a women? She has a Honda with a AEM Cold Air and that thing is pretty loud. Do you think this would blow her away?? She looking for a new Intake for the S she just got? What do you think?
The AGS is very attractive and beautifully photographed.

"Well, sure, the Frinkiac-7 looks impressive, don't touch it, but I predict that within 100 years, computers will be twice as powerful, 10,000 times larger, and so expensive that only the five richest kings of Europe will own them."
If I order the AGS without the heatshield and later decide that I want it, will it be available seperately? Also, Does the heat shield really make that much of a difference? Do you have a picture of the heat shield? Being on a tight mod budget(see: wife thinks I'm stupid) I want the best bang for the buck.

Just looking at the AGS, you might think that it would be loud, but to the contrary, close the window and you would be hard pressed to hear anything.
Outside the car it's very distinct sounding, but not to loud. The reason for this is, the very forward position of the filter ellement allowing it to scoop up cool air
but also in the same time projecting the sound forward and down.
From a personal note the AGS is not loud at all in the car. With the windows up you will hear a slightly lower tone from the engine compartment but it is the quitest aftermarket intake. Even my wife noticed that I took out the Alta and put in the AGS. It does have a killer sound outside of the car.
The biggest reason for the sound change is that the filter is now located in the front of the car vs. right in front of the driver. You won't be dissappointed!

Adam thank you for asking :thumbsup
If your on a tight budget, start with the AGS without heat shield, then when the
finances are better add the shield. The heat shield will be available very soon
either in fiberglass or scrumtious CF for an extra fee.
