What brand/type do most people go with
Also wondering about the cravenspeed obd2 bluetooth connector . I want to use the torgue app on my android phone to monitor things . Ive tried two other bluetooth conn. that couldnt read the ecm .

I went with a Way Motor Works pulley. I think the WMW and Detroit Tuned pulleys are made for them by Cravenspeed.
15% is good if you track track your car a lot, if you don't have 93 octane available, or if you go with an ATI crank pulley to replace the factory pulley which usually fails. A stock ATI is about .8% larger so you'll end up close to 16% with it, or close to 17% if you go with the 2% ATI.
A 17% pulley will give a little more low end, but will generate more heat in the intake and should be used with fuel higher than 91 octane.

I wasnt planning on changing the crank pulley due to the cost . I keep hearing about how they fail however Ive never seen a post where anyone said they actually had a failure . I wonder just how common it is

Also, wherever you get your pulley from (I'm a Detroit Tuned person myself) make sure you get the belt and correct spark plugs, along with renting the puller, you don't want to use a generic off the shelf puller.

According to Way, the ATI is the only one worth it

Yeah 15% would be perfect and what we recommend, heck I run a 15 on my race car too. But go with out kit that has the correct belt and plugs, and no fluff.

We don't use that Alta pulleys as they 1.they cost more, 2 not all stainless 3 are not going to be perfectly balanced as the center section screws go on one side rather than evenly spaced on both sides of center.
As for crank pulleys, Yes the ATI is the best and worth it. There's a thread somewhere on here where I go over a bunch of info, but simple answer is we found the ATI to be the best. Again have it on my GP and on my race car.

These ECUs don't actually control for light pinging that well... Typically not due to the pulley itself, but needs to be watched for.
My car has about 110k on it.
