If that secondary cat isn't monitored, then what is the control? The primary cat is doing most of the filtering of emissions, with sensors monitoring the efficiency of said primary cat, so why couldn't the secondary cat be removed without penalty?

You are correct, M. Regardless if its monitored or not, it's changing the emissions system.

Can I be steered toward anybody that might have this in stock? Or mybe an out of country vendor? Only thing I messed up on building my daughters car. I should have bought this exhaust. ☹️

So AWE does not make exhausts for the Mini's anymore? looked on their site and there is no Mini in the pull down...

Yup, they pulled out because they didn't want to deal with the politics of emissions.

interesting... yet they still sell exhausts and ECU mapping for other brands? Has to be more to it than that. No worries and thanks!
