2013 hp is ?

I find so many numbers, does anyone know what the stock N18 motor makes for HP and or is that wheel HP from a dyno or just what the motor makes.

Google sends me too many edmunds sights.

In the 2013 Owner's Manual for the R56 on page 238 it lists 181 hp for the S and 208 for the JCW.

Manufacturers typically list bhp (crank) probably because it is a larger number than whp. Also if it says "SAE" then that is basically bhp, I believe that it is performed on an engine dyno.

well if thats at the crank, and my stock car has 176 to wheels , which equates to about 220 at the crank my mods have really added up.

The driveline losses can vary widely between cars ranging from 15% to 25% so that would put you anywhere between 200 and 220 hp at the crank which is a fairly wide margin.

This is all assuming that you can compare the two different dynos, which I don't think you can unless both are ultimately calibrated against the same standard.

Your dyno runs are telling you what your Manic re-maps are giving but in order to really know what your bolt-ons gave, you would of had to done a baseline dyno run in truly stock form on that particular dyno.

going back in OCT with our MINI club, I rented the dyno for the day, $350 for up to 10 cars, $35 each over 10. Great price for 3 pulls. I can run my wifes bone stock R57 and see what it shows.

I'm guessing exhaust , FMIC and CAI are giving me about 20 total HP
