FYI, FelPro head bolts are junk!
Just thought I let everybody know that I was getting ready to bolt my head on (burned an exhaust valve) and found out that several (Most?) of the FelPro headbolts that I got are bent!
When I would get them started, they would only go so far and then get really tight. I thought it was just that the threads were damaged so I cleaned them up with a file and they were still tight. Finally rolled them on my table and they wobbled, put them in a drill, same thing.
I've used them on other cars and they worked fine (still are, even) but at least this set that I got was awful.
The 10 large bolts were made in Spain, according to the box, and were the problem, the small bolts and washers were made in China and were fairly decent looking, I hate to admit. Might have to run to the dealer and get some stock bolts, so much for saving money! :(
