Your inference that a country of origin is of an inferior quality to another.

shame on you, for your other responses too on the topic, such as a typographical error.

No dumb-a**, you mean my "implication." You inferred it, what you are trying to say is that I implied it. If you're going to insult me, at least get it right. Shame on you sir!

Look what I started. Lol I'm sorry to get this thread back on topic.... And to solve all this nonsense about country of origin... I just decided the cheaper and better option for me was to build my own exhaust. It's loud, great on the hwy, pops like gun shots, improves mpg, and overall makes driving more fun for me.

My exhaust was made in the Ottoman Empire shortly before WWI. The company stopped making the exhaust after the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand.

Its ok. Fi are a small and dedicated team whom handmake their own kit and take great pride in doing so.

I have the AWE track exhaust and I love it. It's very high quality, welds and materials are perfect, couldn't have asked for more. And much cheaper than others. In sport mode the pops on decel are loud, but over all its not that loud of an exhaust. I wouldn't mind it being a little louder. Now if only they made a down pipe...

AWE track exhaust

Josh, do you have a vid of the AWE track exhaust on a 6sp manual?

A video like the one above for the track version would be nice. Would actually be cool if it could be cut together so you hear them back to back on similar drive-by's, acceleration, etc.

Glad you're loving it! If you have an MT would it be possible to record a few clips for our friends here?

I do not, only AT. I will do some digging to see if I can get something put together. Maybe someone will chime in that has the Track Edition and an MT and can throw something together

Hey guys.
Does the AWE Track Edition drone on the highway?
I'm all for loud, just during long hour trips drone sucks.

Also, any downpipe compatible with AWE yet?

I've had my AWE Tuning Track Exhaust for a little over 2 months now. I can say easily there isn't drone on highway use. It's actually very quiet. Hit the switch to green mode and cruise and you will think you have the stock exhaust. Radio is perfect in low setting. It only gets loud when you hit the accelerator. Its actually to me, the perfect exhaust. No drone even cruising around town in sport mode, yet very loud when you floor it, especially if you are in between buildings or going in a tunnel! My wife's R56 with Quicksilver exhaust is much louder going down the highway in the cabin, but if we have a sound off in the driveway, AWE is much louder!

As for a down pipe, I have no idea.

Getting ready to pull the plug on an exhaust for my F56S. Leaning towards the AWE touring, then I saw Invida came out with an exhaust for the F cars priced on the lower end. Does anyone have experience with Invida?

Just purchased my '11 Cooper S and loving it. Looking into some modification options and was shocked that there are very few Turbo back exhaust options out there on the performance market. Anyone know why this is? Also seeing pretty big jumps in costs
AWE Downpipe Back $895
NM Engineering Cat Back $1200

You have an R56 not F56.
AWE won't work

You may have better luck on the 2nd gen forum since that's what you have, but the nice thing is that the 2nd gen MINIs, since they've been around longer, have a lot of great options. I don't know which ones are turbo back, but you have several great options to choose from: NM, VIP, Alta, Borla, Milltek, Quicksilver, Remus, and probably a few others I'm forgetting.
