blow off valves

Just a question about bov's people are using.
Has anyone used a different one other than perrin, alta, helix, hks, etc...
those all seem to have kits for the mini, i just wondered if anyone has tried anything different.
im planning on using a greddy rz on mine, but it seems no one has ever used it. I always like greddy products since i had an si civic, now i have a mini

I think most people here have the HKS SSQV, Helix (turbosmart type 1), or Alta. It's really mostly for show and a little bit of reduction on the turbolag between shifts for the R56. The stock turbo doesn't flow enough air to produce detrimental compressor surge that isn't already reduced by the OEM diverter valve.

If you check out Riss Racing's BOV in the group buy section you can see it is very similar to a Greddy BOV. Nothing mind blowing in terms of it's installation though.
