GT28 turbo kit from ati

has anyone tried this? i've searched the forums and havent found hardly any info. can you just bolt this up and not tune it?? if anyone has this what tune did you use and what kind of hp and tq numbers you seeing. i'd like to get up around 260 to 270 whp. will this turbo kit get me there? thanks for any info.

There are two members that have done this to their R56 on NAM. The power you're looking for was achieved with some tuning. I recall they both had many issues they were still sorting out with tuning and surprisingly the MAF sensor.

Here you go. Read the entire thread from the begining. The kid that is doing it does not give much information on anything. There is someone else doing it. I'll try and find that thread. But trust me read every thread.

As for the tune I know Jan from RMW has said he can most likely do the tune for a MINI with this turbo he just wants the car in front of him for a few days. I know I read it somewhere I just can't remmeber where it was. It might be in the thread above or the other thread about getting this turbo installed.

Don't forget to look at how the turbo inlet had to be custom made. That should be fun. More custom stuff... more pride!
