That is awsome, if I only had another daily. What coating is that on the piston. Can't wait to see more. I'm still new to the alternate forms of boosting (i.e. Rotrex or turbo) but why the rotrex and not turbo.
What are the volume/cc of those pistons crowns and cylinder head chamber?
Good call on coating the crowns....you'll never burn through them! I think my Dad and I may go down that route if we want to up the boost on our 1293cc Turbo Mini build.

OK let's see if I can answer some of your question's.
The coating are from Swaintech in NY. After spending a lot of time researching these guys just kept moving to the top of the list. They are the best from what I can tell. The piston tops is there TBC GoldCoat Ceramic Armour. The piston skirts, main and rod bearings are coated with their Poly Moly solid film lubricant coating. The heads combustion chambers and exhaust ports are coated with their TBC coating.
What does all this cool stuff mean?? You will have to wait and see. I will show all the dyno charts as things progress.
Why am I coating things black? Because I don't drive an import . The block and tran's will get painted silver. I'm spending time detailing all kinds of things because I'm a little crazy and like thing a certain way .

Good for you man. Nothing like a good drink on a Wednesday . I'm a crazy big Irish guy so I can drink without using my arm's if I need to . I'm a bad guy to party with because while most die off I keep on going like the Energizer bunny .
I had my block painted silver / gray, and have been very happy with the results. What kind of coating is on the intercooler? The last time I saw it, it was still bare aluminum.
