It's my new meth cover. The slot will light up when you open the boot showing the meth level. And it just looks cool .

Here is the old one.

I can see Lowes from my house . I love that store. It's so much better managed then the Depot. Ya the Kobalts are great. I have the bigger set as well. I wish they came in a case as I hate that set up .

Going from 1.6L to 1.8 L is only about 12 cubic inches, so I don't think the top end HP number is going to go up THAT much. But if the longer stroke shifts up the torque curve in the 3000-4000 RPM range and flattens it out, then the car will be mucho quicker.

This looks like a really nice project.. Are you putting the engine together yourself? If so please post as many pics with instructions.. That would be great!!! Now for the Rotrex.. I can not find one on the internet is that full custom? If so what is the model number you are using and do you have a web link? I see on your signature first billet crankshaft is that one of one or is that something anyone can buy? I know lots of questions but trying to catch up to the mini world..

no I don't think so. The idea is a little more HP and TQ. The 1.8L with the Rotrex should be what I think/hope will be the perfect combo. I don't want to predict the final numbers on this one. I have a thought in my head but we will see.

What I'm going for is ultimate drivability. Should be one incredibly linear power band

If you have to ask you can't afford it. If I had to guess , more than $15K total, down the road.

Wait a minute! Since I'm a novice at reading these Dyno charts I have to ask the question. Does the chart say that LB's Mini has 330hp? (Before going to the 1.8L)

How did it feel with 330hp? What do you think your 0-60 time was? Was it out of control power or what??

My guess you will be in the 410 -425hp range.

It feels crazy...your face looks like this --> ...

Yet it is very controlled, smooth, and refined power .

The progressive, linear powerband makes it easy to control.
