I moved this thread out of the off-topic autos to the more appropriate 2nd Gen Cooper S drivetrain modification forum. You should get more relevant hits here.

Welcome to NAM, btw.

Don't forget about that break in period before you go drag racing an R56, which kind of sounds silly to me. You definitely don't want to end the fun prematurely!

There is a drag strip section in the racing and competition area at the bottom of the forums. However, it does not seem like there are a lot of posts there.

It sounds like you have money. So get a good 2.5 inch full turbo back exhaust, get a inclosed intake system (the jcw upgrade is good, but there are others) get Coil Overs, Sway Bar, Strut bar, Hard pipe IC tubes, A new intercooler, a Bov, A better turbo inlet tube, An Xbrace, A water meth system, then have a tune done, either by RMW or maybe ALTA will have theres done by then?? or not??

Haha! My wife and I bought our first new car around age 40. At 18 I had a '76 Chevy Monte Carlo with a 350 motor that only made 135 hp It did have swivel bucket seats though.

At least now I finally have a drag car I can be proud of.

It isn't his fault his parents are successful. I would, and will do the same for my boys.

Go mod crazy GxChris!!! Enjoy, but most importantly, be safe!!
