Yes, this was a mustang dyno - so please, nobody reply "You'd get more torque if...." because those high torque numbers are all done on a different dyno system that is coupled to the wheel hub - not taking into account losses from wheel/tire.

Ha! I just realized there was a dyno plot with your original post. I can see crap from work

No - not really. It is actually funny. I always read about people saying "I make 250 whp, and I don't even have to use 1st gear anymore"

With a 1.6L motor, the torque still is relatively low, so the car still drives "like a MINI" just a screamer to the top end now.

Cars like Kalbones are the ones that have the wheel spin issues - turbochargers are much better at making torque due to their function

Don't shoot me!

Nice numbers but I'm confused.

At the top of the chart in the run section it stats run two at 260hp. Then at the bottom of the chart it says 257hp? Still some great power I'm just wondering which is correct?

Thanks,

LB

The 260 is SAE corrected. So make your choice on the number given that. This was in 114 degree Arizona weather and 91 octane also.

Yes, I agree 100% - on the track, it should be a little beast.

Hubie told me the head is capable of 10K engine speed. The stock Eaton would need a huge pulley to keep its speed down and the motor would need build of course.. and stand alone.

The car won't be seeing any 1/4 mile action... not my style - hopefully I'll be able to get a couple track events in when it cools off though.

Congrats. Please get it to the drag strip and see what that little beast can do. 257HP or 260 HP in a Mustang Dyno is like 285 HP in the Dynapak? I bet, Ahh, never mind. Enjoy!
