haha i love it thats what i figured it was but at 8 Psi... you hear that on alot of track cars. sounds cool but the price of sounding cool shouldnt be the turbo spinning backwards hah. Im going to invent the turbo surge BOV.
could just be the BOV fluttering if its not set tight enough...
but yea, it does indeed sound like compressor surge!

it can be because it is set to tight so it opens really fast then shuts the opens then shuts. instead of a smooth open all the way then slowly close from there.

It sounds much more agressive than my twin charged '02 MCS w/ SuperTrapp exhaust did.
I had a friend w/ a 5 series Bimmer back in the late '80s w/ an after market turbo and it blew off just like that w/ the flutter.

Seriously though man, next time you go out to shot some vid racing around those tight street's you might want to put that cig out and just concentrate on the road .
Very true Longboard, espeically in our town, the roads are full of potholes, making sure not to hit them and focus is not easy while only using one hand to shift and drive.
