ASC

Anybody else find it easier to drive through/ in the snow with the ASC off?

Yes I agree. All that the traction control does is limit your rpm's. Sometimes its so much I end up not going anywhere. I prefer to have it off and throttle modulate.
And if you end up understeering in the turns I have the HANDBRAKE> Its not just for parking.

I also find it impossible to get unstuck while in ASC. Much easier with it off. Oh yeah, i agree with the handbrake.

I had to go up a long, icy snow packed driveway this weekend. With ASC on, I made it the farthest. With ASC off, I only made it up half way. LSD equipped 08 MCS here.
