New Brake Rotors and Pads for our November 16th Streets of Willow run

Rotors - DBA4000 Race Rotors

Pads - Mintex C-Tech 1155 Rally/Race Pads

Here's the description off Helix's site
HMS 3016 Mintex M1155 Track and Rally Pads Front $179.00 This is a low to medium metallic material using both ferrous and nonferrous materials with a high temperature abrasive/lubricant system. Optimal operating temperatures are 550-1000 degrees Fahrenheit. Not for street use.

Nice Nick, It is going to be a lot fun out there. I put some Powerslots on the Jetta that I'll be putting to the test out there. It is going to be a good time.

Rustyboy.... what did you end up thinking about these rotors? Do you have any closeups of them on your car?

He liked them alot but found that the single piston design was lacking for his track use. it left a big microfissure across the rotors. they really arent any good for track use anymore. but im sure they are fine being they are for street use....
I actualy have his old calipers rotors and pads now.....
not that ive actualy put them on... never got time to with my upcoming cam swap.
Ill let you know about the pads and rotors.
hes running the willwood setup for his fronts and this for his backs and as far as i know they work great.
ask him, Wait hes banned....
