Great to hear Ryan, I was going to come back for the game but I have 2 cars to finish for SEMA!

The software is flashed onto the "chip" (ecu) of your computer to increase the performance. You can check to see if there are any GIAC dealers close to you. You can also send out the ecu and it can be overnighted back also

You are probably right! I was always able to get tickets at the tailgate when I would fly home for big games. Nothing like Lincoln in the fall!!!!!

Do you have info on the track in Hastings? I may have to drive the Mini back home one of these days!

If all you have is $300 to spend, go with a cold air intake and save up for a pulley swap. Unless you have access to a pulley removal tool, you'll have to buy one or find someone who will lend you one. If you aren't mechanically inclined, you may have to pay someone to do the swap. Adding the pulley will make a big difference with performance.

Crank and SC pulley upgrades make a great under 300 boost! The SC install takes some time if you are not experienced under the hood, but its worth it!

15% SC pulley is a no-brainer way to get improvement cheaply (relatively speaking). the debate on crank pulleys is ongoing and inconclusive IMO. w/ the addition of a 2% crank pulley, you give up the OEM harmonic balancer and run the risk of over-reving the water pump and SC (too much heat). it depends upon the intended use for the car. i regularly track my car and rev it to 7500 rpm. i won't be changing the crank pulley. if your biggest concern is street performance (at lower sustained rpm), you might want to look at the crank pulley option. research is your friend. what works for one may not work for all.

HAI, pulley, and one-ball exhaust, in that order.
