OBD2 Extension cables

I've had a lot of difficulty hooking up the various monitoring and logging devices (e.g., beta Bim-Com) that I frequently use. The location of the OBD2 port on the MCS is awkward for me to reach, and sometimes the connector from the car works loose from its perch, making the hook-up even more difficult. To alleviate this and make life in the Mini a bit easier, I looked for extension cables. A quick Google search gave the following site:

www.obd2cables.com

I bought 2 different cables (both J1962M to J1962F), and life has been much easeier . I leave the exetnsion cable connected and run it into the Euro shelf that I installed. Prices and quality are very good, and I'm now a happier camper .

Thanks for the link. A while back I was searching for OBD2 extension cables but never found a source for the cable I wanted (something with a right angle connection). Seems like they are selling that particular cable there. I just might have to order one....

Thank you for doing the leg work; I stopped looking for a right angle a long time ago. It will be nice not having to pigeon toe the left foot to clear the cable.
