Kicked but at Road Atlanta

This past Saturday I ran my fairly modded 03 MCS at Road Atlanta at a Panoz "Track days" event. I was in B class - the senond fastest class with mostly vetts and moderetly modded *** cars (S-2000, Miata, 350Z) etc. Most of the very fast Porsche and Z06 vets were in "A" class. I had fast time in B class in my little 1.6 cooper S - Yippy. I past a number of vets and other faster cars on handeling and braking. It was a blast. Passing is only allowed on straights and one is supposed to work with surronding trafick to be fair. There was one C6 modded vette that could pull 20 car lenghts on me on the main straight (I topped at 122MPH), yet I was on his but by turn 3 (12 turn track). He was blue flagged and finnaly black flagged for not letting me (the faster car) past him.
To cool - I passed a new GT40 on track and the driver was so impresed he let me drive that car - Oh my God - 550HP - stock. Again - to cool
Great weekend.
Wes

He was spooked, wouldn't get out of the way . ..then he goes off-line and darts back in, blocking passers

I scared him enough and he finally moved and signaled for the pass

Nice video

What exhaust are your running? Header? Pulley? That is a mean sounding exhaust note. Suspension set up and Tires? Nice handling MINI(Medium ).

I am trying to remember how far from OSU was Mid-Ohio. I always wanted to see the course when I was at OSU for undergrad.
