Chris (BluesMini) is one hell of a driver !!! He took me out on Sunday Morning in the Instructors group in his car and that thing defies gravity and speed laws.

Very Good, fast and No Fear ...

I had some issues with my car .... Blew out the header flex joint piping and was shooting flames onto the heat shield, underbody and shift linkage, smoke in the cabin, not fun to experience ...Noisy as hell, car lost all back pressure, I have some brief videos, before ending sessions because of smoke... Some have cars going off track in front of me, in expert group ... crazy

This was just when i was starting to get the track down and moving fairly well. Chris taught me the Front WD line now and I will use that next time at VIR. Think late breaking, a bit of off throttle overstear and back on it !!!

His Videos are great BTW ... Load them on Google.com if you can Chris

I even saw Michelle, the Duke and a few other Mini Drivers i have meet over the years at mid-ohio, etc ... http://www.tannerdog.com/FJR/NASAFeb.../img_1459.html

Here is a sample ... Car was "on fire" at end, I slowed as smoke was coming into the cabin from my header flex joint, blowing flames onto my underbody .... Melting the rustproofing, plastic bits, heat shield, etc ...

Chad the next NASA CMP event isn't til early April. The second and third. Not sure i want to do that one. It's the old set up anyway. the new one isn't nearly as hard on tires or brakes. The next NASA CMP event is early May. I'll be out of town that week as will RedFury. He's doing 1 lap of america in a Mustang GT and i'm "doing it" in a new M3. don't think i'll be doing any driving. maybe they'll throw me a bone or two but my job it gonna be getting the car and driver from track to track.
