Great video. Ah, makes me homesick for Mid-Ohio. Haven't been on the track in the Mini, but have been on my old Harley.

Gary,

I cannot make this month's event since I will be in Tennessee, on vacation lakefront on Norris Lake

Make us proud and I hope to see you there again ... Great talking with you

Unfortunately, my afternoon videos didn't get recorded, battery died on CamCorder right as I went out .... That was the run I think I passed you in ?

Great track event, as usual, I couldn't stay late ....

I may do a BMW CCA event at Putnam Park, IN. later this month

Either in RED FURY or my new 335i sedan

Phil

Phil--enjoy your vacation in your new car...here's a shot from the Glen this past Thursday. 96 degrees and my left front tire didn't make it through the day..

Very cool video.. and very smooth driving. Makes those of us who haven't done a track day (yet..) understand why total concentration is an absolute must.

Tell me more about Putnam Park.. My kids live in Indiana, and I spend a lot of time up that way.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Putnam Park is a short course, relatively flat, 1 straight, 1 tough 90 degree right turn, 1 sweeping left uphill ....nice flow otherwise, safe, rougher on tires than a newly paved course

Try it
