DP product order
I know there have been a few threads about what to order from DP. I couldn't find this specific information. I am placing an order and I am wondering if it is necessary very often to have more than Swirl, Amigo, and Epic. Is there much call for Cut and Finish?
Our MCS has a really nice finish(thanks to information on this forum) and it should be great with just a pass with Amigo and Epic. My van needs the Swirl so I am getting this also. Is Amigo comparable with Finish except for the filling qualities?
I am buying just about everything else, so I just wondered if it is worth it to upgrade to the bundle and just go all out. (I am sure most of you will say go for it...I would like to get a good detailing package without breaking the bank)
Also, one more question. Sorry. How do you all wash your PC pads and microfibers? Do you use a certain soap? I wash my current microfibers with laundry soap in a warm wash and no softener to dry.

As for your needs, Swirl/Amigo/Epic will be all you need, but you might want to add Hydro for those in between wax washes. And maybe the glass bundle if you want sparkling windows that bead water away.
I wash my pads by hand with soap and water, and occationally, let them soak in a STRONG vinegar/water mix to break down and wax left over in the Epic pad. And my MFs go in the washing machine alone, and then dryer alone (should be hung dry if you have somewhere to hang them.)

Also be sure to claybar the MINI before you start polishing/waxing
I wash my MF towels with my regular detergent (no fabric softener) & dry them in the dryer (again no fabric softener). I wash pads by hand & air dry.

Thanks for the replies. I am ordering Hydro. And the Clarity bundle, and the Slick, the clay, the PC bundle, a couple Monster Fluffies, and a couple waffle towels. I am trying to talk myself out of just buying the Super Bundle, and the PC and polish bundle. I don't need all of it to start, and I can always order again later. I really just want enought to make the best use out of the Prima products without using lower grade microfibers.
For the last year, we have been using NXT liquid wax, Maguires clay and detail spray, Maguires polish and paint cleaner and NXT car soap. We use the Maguires microfiber towels also. I am looking to move to a product that add just a little bit over this product line. I really like it, but I want a little more.

Sorry to not talk you out of it but I think you should get the Super Bundle. We all forgot to mention that you need Clarity (warning: once you use Clarity you will throw out all your household glass cleaners & use it throughout you house so the purchase of a Clarity gallon will be in you future ) The Wizard's will keep all your exterior trim looking really good. You need a good lambswool mitt & carwash soap.
Get the Super Bundle, it has everything you need to keep your MINI in tiptop shape.
p.s... I still use Meguiar's clay with their QD for lubricant. It is really good stuff

I would agree that if you think you're going to use it all at some point (even if not all right away), it's worth it to go for the Super Bundle. You may as well save the $30ish (right?) and the extra shipping you would pay later.
But if you don't have the cash, then I agree with piece-mealing it. But if you can swing it, go for it.

don't forget to order a lot of DP's platinum MF towels!
they are my favorite... even over monster fluffy. the
plushness is perfect for QD to removing wax to polish to everything.

Agreed, the platinum MF's are awesome. I use them to dry (with the waffle weave as well), QD, and a ton of other ways. The monsters are best for removing waxes and polishes.
