big and shiny

My husband's truck was needing some attention and since I've been spending all this money on detail stuff I felt I better. He was away for the weekend and I knew it would be a two dayer ,cuz its a giagantic dually.
So I pull out the PC , swirl, amigo, epic all the pads. Some 303 aerospace for the trim, endurance for the tires and metal polish .
I washed the beast and dried it ,there was no beading left. This took about an hour. Then I thought of Ken's saying, whipped out the Hydro
and went around in about 15 minutes , did the trim and was done by 930am.
Here are the results. I had the weekend to party and banked some brownie points, Thanks Detailers Paradise.

Wow nice job! I take it the wash took too long and that's why you jsut used Hydro? Either way it looks awesome!

Cheater!
Looks great though. Nothing makes me appreciate my MINI more than detailing my wife's Expedition. Of course I'm not kenchan lazy - I do it right and Swirl, Amigo and Epic. I leave the Hydro for later washes.

wooah now, let's clarify that im lazy on my commuters, not on my
hobby cars. hobby cars are well kept, and well nurished...
10+hours invested (closer to 16hrs) per full detail, wash, clay, polish,
2coats of wax, then QD'ed after each drive (yes, each drive). every
5 QD, the car is spray waxed. i dont drive in the rain, i dont take them
to stores, and they are always garaged at night and during the weekday.

who has time to be spending hours after hours on a daily driven car that's
going to get dirty in 5min after you drive? or it rains out as soon as you
finish? i sure don't.

hydro is the answer.
