wouldn't the mitt get clogged up with grime when you run it over the
foam? meaning, you would still need to use a wash bucket
with fresh water to clean the mitt. which imho kinda defeats the purpose.
or is this more like for washing commuters? just get it clean real fast
deal? but if you're fiddling around with the nozzle even if you've got
a quick release it's still kind of clumsy? not sure.
I was thinking about it more as a presoak. For like, you know, when you have 16,000 bugs stuck to your car.
So I just spent the last 2 hours washing the bugs off Clara, and I think it worked out okay.
I had the revelation as I was setting up that my Mr. Clean AutoDry thing does have a soap option (I never use it, I just use it to filter our uber-hard water). So I put a few ounces of Mystique in the chamber and tried it out. It didn't really "foam", but it worked well enough to soak down the bugs.
^^ ahh, i see. i just use a large mist bottle for pre-soak. ($3 at target)
i dilute car wash in there and just spray and keep it damp for a good few
minutes. it doesn't foam up either but foam really doesn't do anything
imho unless the chemical is actually foaming up (chemical reaction) with the
bug juice. will probably have many holes in your car by then.
im going to try the BugRelease as the temps get warmer.
