MOTD PRIMA Wash Station Announced!

Well, we've finally pulled together all the details to make the official announcement of the PRIMA Wash Station at MOTD '07!

You can check out the anouncement HERE!

For those of you not in the know, here's the quick low down...

Heather, of Detailers Paradise and PRIMA fame, along with Richard, aka OctaneGuy, from Show Car Detailing and myself, from Coopersport.com, have joined forces to bring you the best dam car wash this side of the Smoky Mountains! Get it? Dam? Fontana Dam? Nevermind

The three of us will be on hand during the entire event with tips, advise, demos, maybe some free stuff, and best of all, a FREE Car Wash station and a Retail Tent with great deals on Prima and more!

So be sure to check us out and come by often! We don't like being along with Hydro too long... bad things can happen.

Cheers,
Jason.

Oh, don't worry, there won't be more than, oh, 100 cars in line at any given time...

But I hear Heather is starting a new profit center - she's going to sell Express Passes like the theme parks - $250 Prima purchase and you can bypass the lines.

It looks like we'll be able to accomodate 6 MINIs being washed at one time. As long as everyone washes then pulls away to dry, it shouldn't be too bad.

Plus, there will be another car wash station elsewhere in the Fontana Village (although not staffed or supplied, but it'll be good for overflow at least!).

Well, the Detailer's Paradise setup was very nice, but the water at that other car wash had a certain je ne sais quoi...

Thanks all. I will be bringing with me the new Octane Trim Gel--no that's not the name---PC Guards, VacuCams, and a few other cool things. I will be doing demos using Prima and Meguiar's products. I will have both my Porter Cable DA and my Makita Rotary. I've got two cars scheduled for details right now, and they will likely become demo vehicles since it will likely take all day to work on them! Things are really crazy now being in the final sprint to the finish!

Good luck getting everything together! Just remember to take some time to rip up and down the Dragon a few times....

+1 on that!

It was a pleasure meeting Heather, OctaneGuy, and the folks from Coopersport! I loaded up on Richards WoW and Nero while I was there. I was going to order the Coopersport lighting bundle, but forgot to go back .

My brother was my copilot (and a non-Mini owner). He thought I was a detailing fanatic until he saw a bunch of Mini owners washing their cars in the rain!!! Of course, privately I was wishing I was washing the mud off my car at that time...

See you all next year at MOTD6...
