Meguiars #21 Synthetic Sealant over NXT?

Can Meguiars #21 Synthetic Sealant be applied over Meguiars NXT Tech Wax, or do I have to do the Dawn thing first?

My guess is that since both waxes are synthetics, you should have no problem applying #21 over NXT. I am sure OctaneGuy "Richard" will post a response soon. He is the Guru in detailing. What he says is law around here. Hope my 2 cents help you out in case OctaneGuy doesn't respond, but he will.

Thanks Peter W. I've read of applications of #21 before NXT and also statements that no other sealant should be placed under NXT. I already have a healthy layering of NXT and was thinking of using #21 as a topper, however, I've found no information as to whether this is okay and has any particular effect.

I agree with Peter W, and have put M21 over NXT with no ill effects.

I never thought of if it would work I just used the M21.

M21 is even easyer to use than NXT and seems to last longer (not sure really how to tell when I wax every two months ).

If you have to wax every 2 months you need a better wax unless you are just doin it for looks

If memory holds, #21 is the "mirror glaze" version of the NXT so they are pretty much the same thing. I have used both but not at the same time. dont see why you would need to. NXT should be enough. By the way, I did notice that 21 does not have a long shelf life. FYI.
