A Testament to Detailing

Ok, so everyone on this forum enjoys detailing, and we all really enjoy the results. As I approach 50K miles this week, I just did a spring detail on my car, as I have for the past four years. In that time my MINI has been the only car I've driven. He's spent lots of time parked in the city, in an apartment parking garage, and at grad school (although I finally have a garage now). He's been driven in rain, snow, on dirt roads, and everywhere I've been. And yet, a good detailing regimen has kept him looking brand new! So if anyone ever questions any of us on the detailing obsession, here is some photographic evidence of why it's all worthwhile. Happy detailing!

Still looking great. Well worth the effort I would say and a good example to aspire too. Keep up the good work.

Looks awesome. I wish I could go 4 years with only 50,000. Last year I put 32,000 on my Jeep Cherokee, got some great gas mileage too (avg. of about 14 with my kayak rack up there)

Car looks great, and new...

I'm at 48K after four+ years and people say (even at the MINI dealership) that my MINI looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. I know better, of course, but it is a nice compliment for a car that's been outside 24/7.

That's really fantastic! There's no sign of even those uber-fine scratches or swirly things like you usually find on metallic or darker colored cars.

Very inspiring!!!
