Do I need to clay once again??

5 weeks ago, I clayed, PC'd and zaino'd one coat....the weather has not allowed me to add adiitional coats, but this weekend I plan to do some more work with the PC and then apply a few coats of Zaino....do I need to re-clay as 5 weeks has elapsed?

It wouldn't be a bad idea, some stuff has definatly bonded to your paint in the past month, espcially being the beginning of pollen season.

Maybe... maybe not. I'd do the baggie test to evaluate whether or not it's necessary. (refer to the other active thread in this forum about clay if you don't know what the baggie test is)

Jeremy... no you're not! You're absolutely right.

The baggie test should be done on clean, dry paint.

I read this (and was like..What!?) and went looking. There must be four active clay threads. None explain the baggie trick (how DID I miss that??). So I searched.

..it is actually way back in August!

So sorry jwardell!! I could have sworn that I had just written it. Maybe I wrote it to someone in a PM instead?? I'm clearly losing my mind (what's left of it).

I just started a new thread that describes the baggie test for all who might ask. Sorry you had to go digging around for it!
