I went to Autozone and bought Meguairs NXT generation wax and it is awesome, I've been detailing my BRG MCS since about 2 till right now so it's very sparkly but I haven't been able to take pictures and post them becuase it's already dark and my garage is filled with stupid Mercedes's and I can't take them out but the good thing is my cars under a car cover
I'll post pictures in the morning of it, the mini's so clean i dont want to drive it too school.......
Good stuff, goes on nice, works great and looks fantastic.. Best part is when I need more all I have to do is go to the local auto parts store and buy it.
It is very good stuff, and the booster wax works great to prolong the time between needing to re-wax Just be careful of getting any on the black trim. That is one of the reasons I now use Zaino, no need to mask off the trim.
i found that NXT does not whiten the black trims but make them darker and more enriched if you
wipe off right away. easy to use.
Not sure how soon wiping off right away is, but if not I know from experience it will cause white on the black trim.
This is the reason I changed to M21. Just as easy to use as NXT, longer lasting and does not cause white on the trim.
I used that over the weekend to do the first detailing on my new R56 . I'm very impressed. unfortunatly...my wheels are already filthy with break dust

I tried the NXT this past weekend on my wife's Mustang. It was nice! Easy to use, and the car looks great. I'll be trying Prima products later in the spring hopefully, only because so many of you are raving about it!

For your wheels, you can prevent most of the brake dust buildup by applying a durable synthetic wax. The durability is especially important on wheels because of the heat generated there.
Synthetics which have been found to perform well on wheels are Prima Epic, Wheel Shield, and Zaino (first 2 available at our DP website, below, and Zaino at www.zainostore.com)
You'll need to clean the wheels well before applying the synthetic wax, but you'll be glad you did it. After the synthetic wax is on the wheels, you'll only have to QD them or just hose them off to clean them. It makes a huge difference!
is this applied like a regular wax (for paint)? just buff on/buff off?

i had NXT on my trim for like 15min. still came off fine. you got a tanted
bottle or i just got lucky the 10x or so i used it.
I used NXT the 1st time I waxed my Mini & I thought it looked really good but then.... I used P21S carnauba the next time. The P21S just makes the Chili Red look so much more amazing. I gave my leftover NXT to my neighbor Sat nite because I know I can never go back to it

Yup! (to quote MLWagner )
Remember, your wheels are clearcoated, just like your body panels (except the base paint color on the wheels is silver or white). So you can treat your wheel surfaces in a very similar way to your body surfaces.
Alright. We just got a new car and I want to put a coat of Carnauba over top (it's black, gotta make it *pop*) any ideas?
Sorry for the thread jack.

If you want the black paint to "pop," I'd recommend Epic because it'll pop with glossiness. Or, I'd even recommend Zaino if "pop" to you means lots of reflectivity.
If you want to give it a richness and deep warmth that is especially so on black, then add the carnauba!
