Problems Contacting OctaneGuy???

Sorry for making a public post about this, but I have to get this out to those that are IMing me about detailing questions. I've been getting bombarded with questions that really should be asked here on NAM on a public forum. For those that are wondering if your PM triggered this, don't worry--I don't mind the PM's (NAM Private Messages)--it's the IMs (Instant Messages on AIM).

There is one individual who was hammering me with questions every minute of the day about cleaning this or that, or best product for this or that, etc.. on my AIM accont. I finally blocked him after a week of this. I even told him to IM a colleague of mine because I was unable to respond to the sheer quantity of questions he posed, and my colleague said--this guy just threw out 5 questions--didn't say hi, didn't introduce himself--my colleague was like--if this guys going to be rude and disrepectful, then I'm not going to reply either. I had to agree.

While I try to respond to everyone that calls, emails, PMs or IMs me, please don't be disrespectful about it. I won't respond to insulting behavior...(insulting behavior is defined as : 'Yo Skankwad', etc.... I will just block you and that'll be the end of it.

I always try my best to offer as much as I can to the MINI community, but my time is limited, so please try to practice some common courtesy.

One final thing that I'd like to make crystal clear. I love the questions posted here on NAM or in my PM's--if you aren't Instant Messaging me, then this post does not apply to you.

Thanks

Richard

Perhaps you should just take your AIM icon out of your header info.

Skankwad? Yeah, there are quite a few people in this world who think that everyone on this Earth is here to serve them and just take take take. You have always been very gracious in your responses and taking the time to help us detailing newbies and novices out. ;) I'm glad you basically said "step off biatch..."

Oh, and little do we know that he is billing us by the hour. What was that, $250 an hour, OG?

That's what I don't want to do. I'm not trying to prevent people from contacting me or AIMing me, but there is a certain minority that seem to abuse this, and I just wanted to make it clear that I'm no longer tolerating this like I used to.

Thanks WannaMINI! I do have a tab with NAM usernames by each one. LOL.

Skankwad????? Listen up, haters . . . we be the Octane Guy posse . . we can trace your IMs, and sometime, in the dead of night, we'll come to your house, slip into your garage (though you probably don't have one) and "detail" your mini with that clay we dropped on the beach and Dad's old leisure suit. Enjoy the swirlys.
