Headliner

My headline is very dirty. What could I use to clean it up a bit?

I used Griot's Interior Cleaner on mine. It had some fingerprints and various smudges on it and I just took a MF towel, sprayed it with the cleaner, and gently rubbed each spot and they came right out with very minimal effort.

The search engine on this site is a mighty fine tool.

Search: Headliner cleaner

yields: http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...dliner+cleaner

as the second result .

Thanks for the tip!

I'll second the Griot's Interior Cleaner. It took out some stains in my 35-year old Mercedes that I thought were hopeless. It even saved me from having to replace the floormats, which I had just about written off as a lost cause.

You'll have to order it - I don't think it's sold in stores (although if you want to try out some locally-available cleaners in the meantime, you could do that too.)

You can order it from the link I posted - www.griotsgarage.com.

I'm having trouble accessing the site right now, but it should be back up soon - I've never had trouble with it before.

another +1 for Griot's InteriorCleaner.

i even used it today to clean the fender arch to remove the
Meg rubber and vinyl. got Griots dressing on there now. everything
looks good so far...just needs to see if it attracts dust or not.

best part of InteriorCleaner is that it's not super strong although
i would warn using it on leather unless you dress with leather creme
right after. it dries leather pretty fast.
