stupid question

I'm a newbie with a hyperblue convertible. I also have the painted interior. The glove box has a sticker on it for the airbag warning and I am afraid to take it off because I'm afraid it will damage the paint. Can I just pull it off? What do I use to remove the parts that will still be stuck and the glue I am sure is under there without hurting the paint? Thanks for helping the automotively challenged.:impatient

Yup, I pulled mine right off and there wasn't a trace left. Goo-gone is great for taking off sticky label residue, if you do have some left.

I'm amazed how many minis I see parked on the street that still have that sticker. Some are years old. Do people really think it was intended to be left there?

Yes, it is made to be removed and shouldn't leave any residue. If they do, first try dish soap and if not WD-40 (or goo gone etc) and it should come right off.

Mine came off without a hitch.

Here's a great tip on the painted interior: treat it just like your bumpers and other exterior plastic peices, and polish and wax them just as you would on the outside (avoid getting wax on the matte black dash, just apply to the painted peices). The cabin trim looks SO much better when it's waxed and clean as opposed to just dusting it off with interior detail spray. Plus, if you have the cabrio, the sun will fade the paint over time just like it would unwaxed exterior trim. Last, the wax will keep soda, coffee or anything else from sticking to the dash or door peices, making clean-ups extremely easy.

Happy motoring and never hesitate to ask a question... I think I've asked every "dumb" one in the book (some twice) and everyone here has always been super helpful and nice!
