Do Micro Fibers Pull?

Like I have said earier I am very new to the mirco fiber community.

I have another question......

Will micro fiber towels pull off existing wax from your finish? This weekend after drying my truck with our towels it flet like I washed with Dawn.

I just never noticed this before with the old cotten towels. With the waffle towels not be as bad? They should be here any day now. :impatient

Thanks again for everyones help!

i think it does, a little bit.

the NXT has a hard time maintaining its slickness after drying with a MF
after a wash.

Never had an problems using MF towels. It does depend on the quality of the towel you are using.

Check out this MF drying towel. It's soft like a Chamois, but never dries hard. It doesn't need to be stored in a plastic tube like the Absorber does.

Personally, I dry with this towel or an Absorber, then use Quik Detailer and MF towels to wipe off any water spots or any place I've missed. I hardly think that a MF towel will remove any more wax while drying than any other towel, however the act of pushing on your wax while drying will degrade any wax, so it's best to avoid rubbing the finish whenver possible.

As for the finish feeling like it was Dawn washed, what soap did you use, and what wax was on prior to washing, and when was the last time you waxed, and was this by hand or machine that it was applied by?

Thanks for the reply, I use Griot's soap and the wax is Mothers Pure Carnauba Wax Phase Three .....The UPS guys just came with my new MF waffle towels from Sonus. (the big flat car of wax) I wax my truck by hand every quarter so she is due but it just felt more bare than usual.

I will let you know how these new MF towels work out.....so far they feel much softer than the ones we already have.
