What to use to clean foam applicators?
Im tired of washing the foam applicators each time and started using
the cotton disposable ones...but those are hard to apply the wax
evenly as it sucks up the wax.
Im going back to foam but it literally takes forever to wash under
regular detergent until all the wax is gone.
What do you use? what is the trick for a speedy clean?

Kenchan - I just keep a bucket of water and Dawn in the garage that I drop the foam pads into. They simply soak until I need one, then I just rinse it out and I'm good to go.

You could always do what I do and chuck 'em out. Buy a bag of new ones, they're cheap. $1.50 for a bag of 8 @ Canadian Tire....or try Pep Boys or summat like that.

I have just used a Tupperware, or similiar, container and just left them in it. They seem to do fine when a little bit of wax is applied to freshen them up.

yeh, i could probably do that too....not like the wax is going to
spoil, right? Especially not the polymer ones?

I have dozens and dozens of pads. I collect dirty ones and throw them all together in the washing machine. No special care. They come out like new all the time.

my Griots stuff i can just wash with warm water because their polish and

After I use the Snappy Clean to clean the Applicator Pads used to clean my MINI, what do I use to clean the bucket I used for the Snappy Clean to clean the Applicator Pads used to clean my MINI? Can I use the bucket to wash my MINI? or is it forever a Snappy Clean contaminated bucket that can only be used to clean the Applicator Pads used to clean my MINI?

Ok...I'm not sure if you're being serious or pulling our legs so I'll go ahead and answer honestly...
I use a separate bucket. To clean it after cleaning pads, I rinse it out with hot water and soap.
I have a bucket that is ONLY used to clean my vehicles with - double-sided, so one side has the suds and the other is used to rinse my sponge/mit.
I have, however, been keeping my eye on a special pad cleaner that goes along with the snappy clean...the System 2000 Pad Washer.
