Keep your grille clean Risu... . .drive backwards!
I haven't used the stuff but I think it or a similar product has been discussed somewhere in here. Sounds interesting, but its probably as much of a pain to remove as the bugs it will catch. . . .

i saw that can when I went to Autozone the other day... reminded me of
the Griot's spray-on bra that you can peel off.
i still think painter's tape is the best short-term roadtrip protection.
bugs will usually not penetrate through the tape... plus, masking a car is
kind of a pita.
Griot's has a similar product but it creates a rubberized bar that peels off when you remove it.....here is a link to it. I am going to Reno in July and will use it for that trip.
The griot's one looks interesting, but what drew me to the duplicolor one was that you could get it in clear and supposedly rain and snow won't rinse it off, but a car wash will. So it seemed like a nice extra protection if it isn't too noticeable and doesn't damage the paint at all.
I may have to buy a can and test it out if no one else has any experience with it. If/when I do I shall report back here.

if you use the clear, and since it washes off, I wouldn't think you would have mask very carefully. I'd want to make sure it didn't get behind the grill on the radiator, and I wouldn't want to cover my headlights or fog lights, but other than that, it shouldn't matter. (other than making it look decent)
I was thinking that for lapping sessions, you may even want to spray it over the headlights also to keep them from getting scratched from sand or other debris.
Does anyone know what happens if it gets on black plastic? I'm not that concerned with protecting it, but just not having to worry about masking it.

I've got a can of this in my garage. It says not to spray on the lights, I'm guessing if you turn the lights on the heat will cause a problem.
I'm going to Road Atlanta this weekend for BMW DE and will try it to see how it works.

My assumption was that you shouldn't spray it on lights because it would block some of the light. I was thinking for a DE, you spray over the lights and then clean just the lights off before you head home...
Although, you mght be right about the heat.... although, the hood will get stinkin' hot in the summer, so I don't think it's the heat...
