My MC's plactic interior is showing signs of dirt build up on the plastics, mostly on the backseat side walls. Any good products out there for cleaning the plastics, a good deep cleaner yet will not harm the plastic?
I use Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer spray. You can spray it on or buy wipes, either way works well. Won't leave it shiny. Will protect, make new again, and will give a nice lemon scent.

I've been using 303 aerospace protectant on all of the interior with great results. It seems to clean nicely as well though I haven't let anything get too dirty

i am using maguire's #40 plastic cleaner, works great, shines not too much so it doesnt look fake... and easily obtainable....
that said, you might want to get an all purpose cleaner and water on a cloth and wipe down the surface dust before using any plastic cleaner, as the plastic cleaner has a chance to work into the surface

I used this all over my interior recently...and despite being an 02 daily driver it looks like new again.
I tried an area with household Fantastic. It worked great, it really got the dirt up and made for a like new surface. I plan to detail the interior with it and then condition it all once clean. The rough texture on the plastic really holds in dirt.
For cleaning, try a bit of 303 aerospace CLEANER that has been diluted 1:10 with water on a Mr. Clean sponge. This will take care of grease and oil smudges along w/ shoe scuffs, etc.
As recommended above, follow up w/ a good rubber/plastic protectant. I like 303 Aerospace Protectant or the Zaino rubber/plastic treatment for the inside. I like Meguiars #40 on the outside plastic bits.
I just used some armoral wipe things since they were handy and I was in a rush... they seemed to do the job well, but I will prob get something better to do later on.
I have a few different interior cleaners but keep going back to Griot's interior cleaner. One of the few Griot's products that I think is reasonable priced and worth buying. Pick up a 4 finger lambswool mitt for your wheels while you are there!
I would go with either octaneguy's suggestion of that Meguires stuff or what I use, the Interior CLeaner from Griot's. The meguiars stuff is a double action clean/protect. the griot's is just clean and then you follow it with their vinyl and rubber protectant.
Should be noted that the term Plastic isnt used for those materials. that is vinyl or rubber. Plastic is the clear plastic on lenses and dash pieces. That is best cleaned and protected with Plexus. The single best product I have came across in general for detailing. (not that I am a guru though) Removes some hazing, cleans quickly, and protects with an odd rubbery layer. makes the lenses and clear things absolutely clear.
the meg wipe is very mild and works well on leather too.
the Griot cleaner is a tad too strong for my leather. I am going to
use distilled water only on leathers from now on and let the cleaner in
the LeatherCare do the rest.
