Bonnet stripe removal

I recently removed my bonnet decals. What is the best way to get that hood to appear as though those decals were never there? Thank you.

I would go heavy on the polish. Depending on how long they were there, there might be a little fading...

i just used a heat gun to peel back the edge with my finger nail and just pulled gently.
