Cleaning Leatherette seats

Hello! What do you guys clean your leatherette seats with to keep them looking nice. I have tough guard applied to keep them stain resistant but would like to make sure that I keep them in great condition. Also any recommendations for the dash and door panels?

I always vacuum before wiping so dirt will not scratch the leatherette. Then I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. It cleans & protects without leaving a yucky shine

A few times a year I wipe them down with Meguiar's Gold Class Rich leather Wipes. My seats look great after 15 months & I have a dog who rides in one seat 5X a week (dirty paws & all) but his seat is in no worse shape than mine is

A spit shine never hurt anything! I am sure that works wonders on the windshield

I would recommend Vinylex as well, that is what I use about twice a year on my seats.
303 should also work decently.

I have it, but don't use it for the interior. i like aerospace for some reason, maybe I should try.

anyways, what i use to clean the interior is either allpurpose cleaner, diluted, or a woolite mix.

I should give the Aerospace stuff a try, I've just treated them like leather seats, no water and sand or dirt gets vaccumed up at least weekly and a monthly application of a leater cleaner/protectant.

I just use Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer and a Microfiber towel. Keeps the seats looking new and smelling nice! Removes all kinds of stuff spilled on them, and doesn't leave the seats slick.

Thanks for the imput. I am going to try some Meguiar's and see how it goes. Has anyone used this on the dash and door panels? Those are in need of some cleanup due to having the windows and sunroof open all the time!

I use Zaino on my paint.
I use Aerospace 303 on my tires and trim.
I use Sprayway for the glass and chrome.
I use Meguiar's Hyper Dressing on the engine.
I use MINI Interior Cleaner on the leatherette and all other interior pieces.

There are two reasons I use the MINI brand for the interior, even though I've branched away for MINI brand for everything else.

The first reason is that it does an absolutely fantastic job! You can put it on all the different textures in the interior--seats, glossy dash board, radio buttons and knob, speedo lens, and even the non-gloss areas between the speedo & vents and side mirror adjustor trim which shouldn't be glossy. It is 100% safe with all the different types of surfaces and textures inside the MINI, won't lift the finish or turn things goey, and most of all, it really, really works great!

My second reason for using only the MINI brand interior cleaner: if I ever have any discoloration or problems with the finish on anything inside there, I'll be able to take it up with the warranty department, and they won't be able to accuse me of using some other chemical that caused the problem.

The MINI Interior cleaner has a clean orange smell, and doesn't leave any oily residue. I apply it to the corner of a microfiber towel and go over everything inside the car.
