Rear Spoiler has hazy place under it!

Ok this is my second MCS PS/B that I have owned in the past year and they both have the same issue, about the same place the spoiler attaches to the roof there is a hazy/milky finish on the roof! Anybody have this issue and what causes it?

Are you sure its hazy. The part in the hatch doesn't have clearcoat. Is that it?

Nope I am actually talking about on the outside next to where the spoiler attaches on both side, on mine you can see it if you are standing directly beside it looking down on it, it almost looks as if the clear is lifting but with this being the 2nd cooper I have owned and it is on both I am really wondering.

I know that the point on the roof, about 1/4" in front of the spoiler contact area, dirt collects on occasion. Usually easier seen when it had been raining and dirt sticks better. I don't know what could make the paint milky looking though. I'm sure you have tried to clean it but have you put a good coat of wax on your MINI or at least that point on the roof?

Mine had oversprayed clearcoat in those spots which I removed with a clay bar.
