I put 2 more coats of Zaino in beginning of November and now almost 2 months later want to put something on the car to make it slick feeling, but the temp is too cold to put on another coat of Zaino due to their temp recommendations....around here, if I can find a day where it goes up to 45, it is pretty rare and not for all that long so I am afraid to put on Zaino and have the drying time be too long...so:
what wax, polish, whatever, can you put over Zaino in cold weather and still be able to continue with Zaino again in the springtime?
Unless you can find an enclosed garage, I would wait till the spring. That's what I have done after my last zaino ritual in the fall. Even after all the horrible mass snow storms and salted roads, come spring water is still beading all over my car, so don't worry, your zaino is still there!
Years ago I did apply zaino once in about 45-degree weather. I went to buff it off the next morning and it still had not fully cured. So it would need a full day...and keeping it clean and dry for that long around here is not really possible anyway.
you defenitely need a heated garage.,... zaino will never dry out.... that said... i spent a whole day doing my other car and it was no issues indoors... wash the car, i then drive it inside to clay, back outside to wash with Z7, and move inside again for zaino job...
Quick Detail it with Z6 or Z8. This should keep the slickness up to par quite easily all winter long. QD is extremely important in all seasons to maintain maximum slickness.
I find regular washings with Z7 really improves things as well, this can be done with a bucket and mitt at the local wand-wash car wash place. Rinse with the wand, lather and clean with your bucket and Z7 with mitt, using the wand periodically, then rinse with the wand.
