Zaino curing time question
I Zaino'd my car 3 months ago and today put on 2 coats of Z2 in the morning. About 6 hours later, I notice a very small patch near the boot handle where I hadn't buffed out the Z2...so I rubbed it out with my finger tip and it caused a scuff! I then tried rubbing with my finger on an area that had already been nicely buffed out and that also caused a scuff. I put more Z2 on my 2 scuffed areas and they are fine now, but here is my question:
is there some sort of curing time where it takes a certain amount of time for the Zaino, once dried and buffed out to set up and cure and harden??....'cause now I'm afraid to touch my darn car because I don't want to cause anymore scuffs.

I think what you are seeing is not a scuff in the paint, but the oil from your skin leaving a streak. Perhaps your car was never shiny enough for you to notice before. Now you know why are all so annoyed about fingerprints.
Drying time varies by temperature and humidity, an hour is usually plenty, but under no circumstances will it cause a scuff. If you have a missed spot, buff it off with a towel, not your finger.

As stated, drying time is a function of temperature and humidity, but you might try the ZFX accellerator which speeds drying time considerably in all situations. I put three coats of Z2 (using ZFX) on my MCS last weekend and each coat was dry within a few minutes.
I've been using this product for over 3 years and have never seen 'scuffing' as you describe.

6 hours should have been plenty of time for a coat of Zaino to dry and cure. I'd be willing to bet that it's finger oils, as mentioned above.
Spray with a bit of Z6 and buff with a clean microfiber. Then report back!

I wiped the scuff afterwards with a microfiber and it was a scuff...I Z2'd it then and then disappeared...any ideas as to why it was so soft?
