Its gonna be kept outside all winter, cause we have a 1 car garage and its got so mush crap in it. And i will be driving it daily, obviously

I get as many coats of wax on as I can this time of year. I know you don't want to many, as it becomes a waste, but right now it should be to cold to wax here, but the day time temps are holding, so every weekend, I plan on laying on more wax.

I'm also getting as much black trim dressing as I can on.

Anytime now, it will be 4-5 months before I can do much but wash the car at a wand wash

I gave a complete detail last weekend, including a wax job. Replaced my Mini mats with some rubber mats. We don'y have wild winters here in TX like you guys, but again, I just wanted to make my baby ready.

Winter in Texas lasts about half a day some time in January. 25 degrees Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. All I can suggest is to buy a POS with a good heater, brakes & tires.

Sorry, but I don't get that. My MC looks as good as day one. It is coming up on winter 3 and my car looks as good finnish wise as the new ones

I watched the video, pretty funny, scary as well, why would that lady throw herself out of the car? What kind of mindset is it? Stupid

Knowing how to drive in those conditions helps. Granted it looks like they were going down a hill, but the first car stopped

I just spent a few more hours today putting 2 coats of NXT wax and 1 coat of NXT touch up as well as using BMW leather treatment on every piece of my interior and shampooing the carpets. Hopefully it will hold up for the winter here. Yes, I will be hand washing the car in the parking garage too when it gets too cold to do it outside.

For those of you with harsh winters, Don't forget your seals and exterior rubber! A good coat of 303 protectant on all the seals will help keep them soft and pliable in the cold. Apply liberaly, wipe with clean cloth and then apply a bit of baby powder (unscented) to a microfiber and apply to the seals. The baby powder keeps the now moist seal from sticking to the painted surfaces of the door jam.

Actualy, for the seals, the best product to use is Einszett's Gummi Pflege (instead of the 303), which is a bit of a PITA to find right now... Someone found this link a while back... It's the 4th product down:
