Klasse question re: black trim

I ordered a PC 7424 over the weekend, and in order to not look like a total detailing geek (not that there's anything wrong with that!) who tapes off his black trim while waxing (that sounds dirty) I ordered some Klasse AIO and SG to go with it.

Question - The AIO won't discolor the trim, right? But should I still try to keep it off the trim, or should I let the DA pad overlap the trim to make sure all the paint gets a nice even coat?

And the same applies to the SG, right?

Thanks for your help, as always!

AIO and SG will not stain your black trim and you do not have to avoid the black trim while applying them. I use them to keep the trims shinny

I don't tape and do get some AIO/SG on the black trim, but it just wipes off with no discoloration.

Klassie works great on trim.

Klasse is fine for the trim. The directions actually say you can put SG on trim i.e-

Klasse has a reputation that speaks for itself. These state-of-the-art products will polish and protect the painted surfaces on your vehicle. Klasse Wax Products produce the depth and clarity of a high quality carnauba wax but lasts much longer. One or two applications of Klasse wax a year will keep your car protected and looking great!

Acrylic is the Solution. Acrylic is different than wax, silicones, and polymers. This polish will bond to your car’s surface just like the previously mentioned treatments, but it will not cause any change to your paint, and you don’t have to worry about drying time. Klasse All In One dries as fast as you apply it, and there is no risk of hazing or streaking. All-In-One contains no abrasives or silicones, and does not stain plastic, vinyl or rubber trim. It can be used on any non-porous surface, and in addition to car care it is also approved for marine and aviation use.

First introduced in 1979, Klasse All In One Polish changed everything about the way people polished cars. Klasse All In One Polish will remove oxidation, minor swirls, old wax, and other surface blemishes; leaving a beautiful and deep acrylic shine. Unlike some formulas, Klasse will not penetrate or change paint.

Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze is a highly concentrated acrylic formula glaze for new cars and oxidation-free surfaces. High Gloss Glaze provides an additional protective layer over the All-In-One with an exceptionally brilliant mirror-like shine.

High Gloss Sealant Glaze creates an elastic, non-chip, shrink-proof, heat and scratch resistant - protective seal against ultraviolet rays, salt water, acid rain and industrial pollutants for up to 12 months. Use this glaze on all paints with or without clear coats, glass, fiberglass, Plexiglass, plastics, metal surfaces, enamel, tiles, Formica and all non-porous surfaces. It is anti-static, non-abrasive and contains no ingredients harmful to paint, metal or plastic.

I find SG works great on the wheel arches, mirrors and roof trim.
So no need to tape. But don't put it on to heavy a little goes along way. If you get to much on you'll find it harder to remove. Don't force it between the wheel arches and fenders or you may not be able to get it all off.

I find it is better do do more light coats then harvy ones. I do several instead of the normal two recomended. I have put on at least 4-5 coats of AIO and 8-9 coats od SG and still have over half the bottle left!

Thanks everybody - I'm very excited to get to try out my new stuff!

I'll post pics once I've detailed, but my car is PW and the pics will probably look the same after a day of detailing as they would after 2 weeks without a wash!
