#7 can be applied by hand or PC. Is that 9.5 inch or 9.5amp?? I can't find that model on the Craftsman website.
Since #7 is a pure polish, and you just want a fast, even applicator tool, assuming you got a foam pad soft enough that fits your buffer, then it should work, although I have no experience with this buffer.
As far as pad issue goes, I would recommend a Finishing pad like the Meguiar's W-9006.
I have no idea if it will fit your buffer. If it is indeed 9.5" then it won't. Besides you'll need a velcro backing plate.
Can I use my Craftsman buffer to apply Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze? It's a 2400 rpm random orbit 9.5 inch model.
Tx......Les

mines an older model probably and is 9 5/8s inch unit as described on the box. I was concerned about rotating speed not being high enough to apply the glaze. Sounds like it may be ok.
Oh ok. Yeah for simple application of a polish, this should work fine. Of course I recommend either a Meguiars G100 or a Porter Cable 7335 but those are both atleast 3 times the cost.
Set it on speed 3 with a polishing/finishing pad with the above tools. I'm not sure what that translates to into RPM's for your buffer-will have to find out.
I don't think speed is your friend when it comes to applying a polish. Again, #7 was formulated something like 40 years ago, and it was originally intended to be used by hand. The fact its called Show Car Glaze doesn't imply that you need a high speed application to make it "glaze".

I'll pick up some #7 tomorrow and I reckon Saturday I'll give it a whirl with the old Craftsman. I just came back from Wally World with NXT wax. I already have Meguiar's Deep Cleaner and Deep Polish. If it doesn't work, then it's Porter Time. It will be a fun morning.
