Whenever I zainoed my car (got about 12 coats on it so far :D) I sometimes get a bit of the polish onto my plastic trims, and when it dries it kinda makes the trim's black fade. I couldn't figure out what to do about it for the longest time until I saw Mothers Back to Black Exterior Bumper and Trim Care at the local car care shop. Works AWESOME, my trims are back to what they looked like when I first got the car and it removed all the oxidation which caused it to fade. Thumbs up to this product

Back to Black only worked a few weeks for me. After that, the wax reappeared. Peanut oil is a cheaper and longer term solution. So is peanut butter, if you can't find peanut oil in your cupboard.

The Back To Black only works for a week or two for me. I second the peanut oil reccomendation. Now that works wonders, and theres no way I would have found out about that solution without NAM.
How exactly do you use the peanut oil? Just put it on a rag and wipe on, wipe off or is there a more involved process?

I've used it to remove the wax residue left on the black trim after waxing. This is residue, not oxidation. I use a toothbrush with a little peanut oil on it and gently brush the surface.
I also have had spectacular results with Aerospace 303. In fact, my twice yearly routine is to carefully clean the black trim with car wash and a soft-bristled brush, apply two coats of Aerospace 303 then finish it off with Griot's Speed Shine. Then whenever I use Speed Shine on the paint, I do another coat on the trim. The result is a deep black color without being greasy or shiny. Really "pops" on a LY MINI.
