Free 303 Stuff

I found this over on Cooperspeed... a link to free 303 samples and another, larger pack for $5 in shipping!

Good stuff! Great for the black wheel well/rocker panel trim. Also, I spray it on my satellite dish and neve have a problem with snow or ice.

Makes a nice cocktail with a splash of vodka and a twist!

thanks for the link, I got 303 aerospace last winter for my wheel well trim but haven't had it warm enough (or non-rainy weekend) to detail my car properly...

the windshield wash tablets look interesting as well.

303 is the only thing I'll use on my wheel arches and other black exterior plastic. It looks great and lasts a very long time. (two thumbs up from me!)

I have found that I can really increase the protection/look of the black trim by putting on two coats of Aerospace 303 (a week apart) then using Griot's Speed Shine a week after that. Then, periodically (about every 6 weeks or so) hit the trim with the Speed Shine again. The result gives a deep black color, but not shiny or greasy. The two products layered together seem to be incredibly long lasting!

FWIW,

Theo

Wow, a whole bunch of products I've never heard of from a company I've never dealt with. Count me in!

I only wish I could order online instead of having to write a check and wait for it to make the circuit. But now I am complaining about free, yikes.

Can't wait til it arrives.

They send the stuff really fast. Its not bad if you have never tried it, but trust everyone who talks about it and just go to the store and buy a bottle for about $12. They give you a small two ounce bottle which is nice because you can refill and keep in your car if your a maniac like me and others. They also give you a tablet to make winshield cleaner that will last you until 2055. The small bottle of spot upholstery cleaner is going to be tried this weekend. Wait a minute! I guess it is worth it. Order it.

I just received the free sample of 303 protectant today. I know many folks have strongly recomended the stuff, but I've never tried it as I am still using up a bottle of some other brand. The 303 is great! I'm sold.

Got my free sample as well. I also ordered the $5 version of the free sample. Wish I could have that this weekend as well, but absent eddys in the space-time continuum, that is not likely. Much detailing to be done this weekend.

303 rocks! The $5 box did arrive to go with me for the weekend. The spot and carpet cleaner easily removed a spot another cleaner could not touch, and the Aerospace Protectant is going to become my regular vinyl detailer, I think.

I used my free sample, it was barely enough to do a few feet of molding. So my recommendation is to fork over the $5 for the real sample.

When I wash the car later this week I'll see what I think of 303. I put it on some molding and half a wheel...it lists it as a protectant and brake dust repellant for rims so I want to see if that actually works. As long as I am half happy I'm sure I will buy a whole bottle.

Josh,

As a treatment for the black trim, it is quite long-lasting...not like Back-to-Black. My standard application is two coats of 303 then one coat of Griot's Speed Shine. Rich black without be greasy or overly shiny.

I have tried it on my white wheels but I've yet to notice an improvement in the ''brake dust repellancy" department.

Just to add to this, last week I experimented with their recommendation to use 303 not only on tires but rims as well. I applied it to just half of a clean rim to see what it would do.
1200 miles later I went to was the car. That side of the rim seemed just the tinyest bit whiter.
Then I hosed it off.
Almost all dirt and dust hosed right off of the 303-protected side of the rim! Amazing!
And all trim that I've used it on has miraculously stayed cleaner, and my wax dowsn't seem to leave any residue on it.
It really is magic...thank you for the pointer, I don't think I would have tried it without the free sample!

I definitely need to order more of this stuff! Anything to cut down on wheel cleaning time.

Okay. That's it. I just put my $5 in an envelope. I love free stuff - especially for the MINI.

I complained at the beginning because I could not pay for the $5.00 freebie online, but the whole process, from writing the check to receiving the package only took about five days. It's a rare freebie that shows up that fast.

I am guessing that 303 is a small company, since their customer service is way too good for a big one.

Save your $5.00 and go to Ace Hardware or Murry's discount auto parts they sell much of the 303 product line. I picked up a 16 Fl oz. bottle of 303, Aerospace Protectant, $12.99 and used it on the arches and much of the black plastic, rubber, tires and wheels of our '05 MINI-S...so far so good.
