Removing air bag warning from body-color interior panel.

My usual procedure for stickers (on other cars) has involved careful peeling with a hair dryer followed by 3M adhesive cleaner. Hate to do anything to mess up my new car though. Any thoughts?

I was able to gently peel the label off, then used a little Goo Gone to clean off the glue. Worked like a charm.

If you gently peel it off SLOWLY (whilst the car is still relatively new) it should come off in one piece and leave no residue behind

As mentioned above... I was able to remove mine just by peeling slowing. No residue or marks were left at all. It is impossible to tell where the sticker was. Now.. I did remove it in the summer.... so it is possible that the warmer weather made it peel more easily. Might not be a bad idea to use a hair dryer... or just get the car nice and toasty with the heat (this of course is assuming that you are in a cold climate)

Good luck

Oh.. I just realized something. I was talking about the sticker on the dash just above the glove box. That one shoud come off without too much trouble, or just a little heat.

However, if you are asking about the ones on the visors, then you will probably have to use denatured alcohol like the person above mentioned.

Ah, I was wondering. I tried just peeling them off the visor, thinking that's what was being discussed, and I couldn't even get a tiny bit of a corner lifted up. I did do the sticker on the dash, though. Harder than I expected to get off but it all did come up just by peeling, in about two or three pieces.
