Mini Countryman Seat material/cleaning

I have the 2011 Mini Countryman S. Are the seats in it leather or the fake leatherette type material? I can't find the answer anywhere. Just trying to figure out if I need leather cleaner or vinyl type cleaner. The interior color is Black Carbon if that matters.

Thanks guys I appreciate the help.

I use Griot's 'Interior Cleaner' on mine. Works great.

I have the Leatherette seats as well. I just use Surf City Garage Dash Away and spray it on and rub it in with a small microfiber towel. Cleans nicely, leaves a completely matte, natural-feeling finish, and provides good protection from sun.

Do not use any leather conditioners or leather cleaner/conditioners, it will just leave really bad streaking!!

in the ever so optionable MINI you REALLY ask this question?

I'll bet there was a leather option or 3 in the year of your build . . .

Sorry, don't know a lot about minis. I figured mine was maybe synthetic because the middle insert on the seats is def not leather like. I haven't been in a lot of minis so Idk what their leather looks like

most cars today don't have leather on the bolsters; its generally down the center of the seat unless you get the 'extended' leather package.
My 11 Clubman S has leatherette seats and they have held up really well over the 60k miles my car has on it.

From my experience the leatherette holds up better than the leather. Doesn't get as many lines or cracks in it
