Custom Mirror Caps?

I'm looking to have mirror caps custom painted or vinyl wrapped, but have no idea where I'd get something like this done. Everywhere I've inquired has said they won't take such a small job on! Anyone have ideas as to where I can get this done? I'm located in Central Jersey.

Thanks.
Michelle

Are there any sign companies in your area that do vinyl car wraps? They may be able to help you wrap your mirrors with something unique! Just a thought.

I'm located in southern Florida and recently had my mirror caps, and bonnet scoop painted at a local body shop for $150. At first the shop's owner was very hesitant to give me a quote for "such a small job", but I told him I would remove the parts and bring them to the shop, and there would be no rush. They did a great job, and I'm extremely happy with the results. If you go this route just Google how to remove the caps. There's many videos to guide you to avoid breaking the peasky tabs.

try Scratchwizard.com. I did my mirrors and very pleased. Get their paint and clear coat spray cans ($40). Follow directions.

If you don't have any luck, you could take a stab at vinyl wrapping them yourself:

Mirror caps are one of the hardest things to wrap. I suggest learning on some easier panels first. Vinyl is one of those things that gets easier the more you do it. Buy plenty of extra vinyl, I had to start over once or twice.

It's also easier if you don't use vinyl with a pattern like carbon fiber. All that stretching can make the pattern look funny.

Its takes time and skill to warp it with that much curve. Can be done , but takes time and skill.

The easiest way is to just replace the mirror caps. MINI has a bunch of options. What year and model do you have ?

That's not a bad price, paint shops can be expensive.
